About Lexington

Lexington was incorporated on May 21, 1950, with a population of 569.  Our population as of the 2000 census has grown to 2,214.  Lexington is approximately one square mile wide and is located in the southwesterly corner of Anoka County.  Our city is nestled between the cities of Circle Pines and Blaine.  Lexington has a small-town atmosphere and independent status with the advantage of having St. Paul/Minneapolis only minutes away.
